World Racing Group and Racing Electronics Announce “Scanner Up” Program
Unprecedented move in dirt track racing will allow fans more at-track options on race day
CONCORD, N.C. – Feb. 5, 2016 – World Racing Group will expand its partnership with Racing Electronics in 2016 to bring fans even closer to the racing action at World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, World of Outlaws Late Model Series and Super DIRTcar Series events.
Starting at the 45th Annual DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Fla., fans will be able to listen directly to driver receiver communication, race control and the announcers for all three series, Johnny Gibson, Shane Andrews, Matt Prieur and Rick Eshelman.
Fans will be able to purchase Racing Electronics scanner and headphone packages at World of Outlaws and Super DIRTcar Series events by visiting the series merchandise trailers as well as Racing Electronics’ trackside vendors at select events.
