Curious which drivers you should keep an eye on at each Super DIRTcar Series event? Series Announcer Mike Warren will bring you his five drivers to keep an eye on each race weekend.

This week: Stars and Stripes Spectacular at Land of Legends Raceway, July 3

MIKE’S FIVE:

Mat Williamson
Why: There’s been nobody better over the past two seasons at Land of Legends than defending Series champion Mat Williamson. He swept both races there last season and already has four wins in 2025. He is without question the heavy favorite for the Stars and Stripes Spectacular.

Peter Britten
Why: Britten is coming off a third-place finish on Monday at Mohawk, meaning he has momentum going into Thursday’s race. The Aussie is one of the few drivers to beat Williamson this season at Land of Legends on Saturday nights.

Alex Yankowski
Why: The Series points leader never saw the place before SummerFAST last season, where he finished second to Williamson. With a few more laps at Land of Legends under his belt, there’s no reason “Kid Rocket” can’t keep his consistency going.

Alex Payne
Why: The 2024 Series Rookie of the Year has been running inside the top five for most of the season, and a trip home could be the break he needs to put it all together. He’s finished in the top five in four of his six Feature starts at the track this season.

Matt Sheppard
Why: The only other driver to beat Williamson at Land of Legends in 2025 is the 10-time Series champion. Sheppard has more Series wins than any other driver at the track, and a ninth for No. 9 would be his 100th Series victory.

You can follow these drivers and more at Land of Legends Raceway, July 3 by getting your tickets in advance or at the gate.

If you can’t make it to the track, you can watch all of the Super DIRTcar Series action- with Mike Warren – on DIRTVision, either online or with the DIRTVision app.

UP NEXT: Hall of Fame 100 at Weedsport Speedway on Saturday, July 26. Get your tickets now.
