Rain Delays Mr. DIRT Track USA to Sept. 1 at Lebanon Valley Speedway

WEST LEBANON, N.Y. – Aug. 25, 2011 – Rain Thursday night forced Super DIRTcar Series and Lebanon Valley Speedway officials to postpone the Big-Block Modified 100-lap, $17,500-to-win Mr. DIRT Track USA event to Thursday, Sept. 1.

The event schedule on Sept. 1 will remain the same, with grandstands to open at 5 p.m. and racing beginning at 6 p.m. Pit gates are set to open at 3 p.m.

SUPER DIRT WEEK DIGEST: Rolling Wheels to Stage Campers

WEEDSPORT, N.Y. – Aug. 25, 2011 – In less than seven weeks the New York State Fairgrounds comes to life for the 40th Super DIRT Week. Among the thousands of fans who will converge on Syracuse Oct. 5-9 are hundreds of campers.

New regulations in New York have led to expanded camping options for fans, in particular at Rolling Wheels Raceway Park. Broadening the tradition of pre-Super DIRT Week camping has led DIRTcar to open Rolling Wheels Raceway’s camping areas to the public for fans who would like to stay overnight with their campers awaiting entry into the New York State Fairgrounds.

WEST LEBANON, N.Y. – Aug. 24, 2011 – As the fall months approach and the weather cools down, the action on the Big-Block Modified Super DIRTcar Series is heating up, with $17,500 on the line Thursday night as the Big-Block stars invade Lebanon Valley Speedway for the 33rd running of the Mr. DIRT Track USA, the ninth stop on the 2011 Super DIRTcar Series trail.

08/01/2011 – Merrittville Speedway

THOROLD, Ontario – Aug. 1, 2011 – Matt Sheppard used lapped traffic to slip past Chad Brachmann late in the Bob St. Amand Sr. Memorial 100 Monday night at Merrittville Speedway to pick up his third Super DIRTcar Series Big-Block Modified win of the year. New promoter for Sept. 4 race


Corcoran to promote race at DIRTcar’s flagship Weedsport Speedway

 Canandaigua promoter will run two events at Cayuga County, including Sept. 4 race 

WEEDSPORT, N.Y. – Aug. 18, 2011 – DIRTcar Racing has reached an agreement with Canandaigua Motorsports Park promoter Jeremie Corcoran to run two events at Weedsport Speedway, formerly known as The New Cayuga County Speedway.

The Super DIRTcar Series Big-Block Modifieds will invade the historic track at the Cayuga County Fairgrounds on Sunday, Sept. 4, for a 100-lap event. Then, to help launch the 40th anniversary of Super DIRT Week, Corcoran and Weedsport Speedway will feature a DIRTcar 358-Modified Series event.

ELBRIDGE, N.Y. – July 4, 2011 – For the second consecutive night the Big-Block Modified Super DIRTcar Series race wasn’t decided until the final lap.
