QUEEN CITY SIX: Matt Sheppard Earns Record-Sixth Super DIRTcar Series World Finals Victory
While an 11th Super DIRTcar Series title isn’t in the cards for Matt Sheppard, he still earned a piece of history Thursday at The Dirt Track at Charlotte.
The Savannah, NY driver led all 30 laps to score his record-sixth Series Feature win at the World of Outlaws World Finals, breaking a tie with Brett Hearn for the most Big Block wins at the North Carolina track.
“Super Matt” called his first World Finals win since 2023 awesome and said everything went his way.
