WEEDSPORT, N.Y. – August 6, 2015 – Super DIRTcar Series point leader Matt Sheppard led the final 45 laps of the Hall of Fame 100 before a large crowd at Weedsport Speeedway. It was his 4th Series win of 2015 and with it, he earned $10,000.
Sheppard’s HBR Racing teammate Jimmy Phelps came from 16th to finish 2nd. Tim Fuller completed the podium finish.
Polesitter Danny Johnson led the first 55 laps, but brought out the third caution when he came to a stop on the backstretch a lap after being overtaken by Sheppard. Pat Ward placed fourth. Erick Rudolph surged late to finish 5th, just ahead of Justin Haers.
