The final weekend for the Alltel All-Star contest has arrived with voting at www.AlltelAllStar.com set to conclude at 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, February 28.
The votes have been pouring in down the stretch with just one of the 14 different winners from the 38th Annual Alltel DIRTcar Nationals By UNOH at Volusia Speedway Park standing to collect the $10,000 grand prize as voted on by the fans at AlltelAllStar.com.
In the ’09 edition of the Alltel DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia, Advance Auto Parts Super DIRTcar Series champion Brett Hearn joined fellow Big-Blockers Pat Ward and Jamie Mills in the fans’ voting with all three prime candidates in the running for the lucrative $10,000 top prize. In addition, the driver with the most votes in each of the other three divisions (aside from the overall winner from Big-Block, Sprint, Late Model or UMP Modified) will take home $1,000. Voting daily at www.AlltelAllStar.com for one of the DIRTcar Big-Block Modified winners will also enter fans in a contest to win a $500 gift card from Alltel Wireless.
During the past two weeks, drivers did their best to convince the fans to vote for them through their victories during the Alltel DIRTcar Nationals. Now it’s up to the fans to decide who will win the title by voting at AlltelAllStar.com.
