What are you doing the weekend after the Daytona 500? If you’re a racer looking to win, then you’ll want to register for the 2009 Teo Fabrications “Get Smart: Get Quick” Advance Chassis Seminar to be held Saturday, February 21 at the Mineral Spa and Resort in Vernon, New Jersey. This all-day seminar for drivers and teams to increase their racing knowledge will be preceded on Friday, February 20 by a 4-9:00 pm open house at the nearby Teo Fabrications race car construction complex.
“We‘ve had outstanding attendance at each of our previous seminars,” said Teo Fabrications proprietor Bobby Hearn. “We also learned a great deal about what the racers really want to know. This has helped us put together an even more informative and productive day.”
The all-day Saturday seminar includes presentations on race car chassis setups, tire management, shock absorber technology, brakes, safety issues, and racing sponsorships and public relations. Representatives from leading racing components manufacturers will be among the several presenters and will be available to answer participants’ questions.
The Friday Open House at Teo Fabrications includes a free two-hour, from 6-8:00 pm, shock absorber program presented by Bilstein Racing Shocks. Other manufacturers reps will be on hand as well. This is a great chance to meet the professionals at Teo Fabrications and tour the facility. In addition, product specials will be available and refreshments will be served.
The cost for the full day’s program is $149.00, and includes an in-depth seminar notebook as well as lunch and door prizes. Teams with several members wishing to attend should ask for the Teo Group Rate. And to cap off the day, one lucky registered racer will win a 2009 Teo Pro Car Chassis!
But space is limited. “We’ve had a full house at each of our previous seminars,” said Hearn. “That’s why I strongly suggest folks reserve their seats as quickly as possible.”
