They arrived from three different states yet Brett Hearn, Pat Ward and Jamie Mills reached common ground in Florida as soon as they each pulled into victory lane at Volusia Speedway Park during the 38th running of the Alltel DIRTcar Nationals By UNOH, February 11-14.

The trio of Advance Auto Parts Series Big-Block Modified winners share another more significant element and that is the chance to win $10,000 when votes are tallied in the second Alltel DIRTcar All-Star contest in just one more week!

For one of these drivers to collect this lucrative cash prize as the consummate Alltel DIRTcar All-Star, fans need to vote for their favorite by logging into www.AlltelAllStar.com. Just a short time remains as the top prize will go to the driver who receives the most votes in an on-line poll that runs through 11:59 p.m. on February 28. Only one vote can be cast per day.

“I’m broke all winter long and that money would sure come in handy as we’ve got a lot of bills to pay. I enjoy coming down here and putting on a show for the fans, giving 110% every time out,” said Ward about why fans should choose him as the Alltel All-Star. Remarked Mills, “I think some should go to charity. It’s like free money, it’s like hitting the lottery so make sure it goes to good use.” Hearn added, “The vote could really be for me and my whole crew, they deserve it as much as I do. We didn’t give up, easily could’ve after the first three nights but stuck with it and finally got what we came here for.”

Eventual Florida Tour points champion Ward from Genoa, New York captured the opening two Big-Block feature races at Volusia followed by Milford, Delaware driver Mills while Sussex, New Jersey speedster Hearn claimed the 50-lap finale in dominating fashion. Now is the time to show your support of these top wheelmen from the Northeast and enter a vote today!

The winner of the $10,000 Alltel DIRTcar All-Star prize will be announced at the completion of voting and honored with a special ceremony at a date to be determined.
