Race fans wanting to learn more about THE BIG SHOW, the 100-lap Advance Auto Parts Super DIRTcar Modified Series race, Wednesday, June 17 at Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, New York can now find that information at www.thebigdirtshow.com. “We’ve got the website up and running and we’re adding more information just about every day,” remarked Brett Hearn, the promoter of THE BIG SHOW.
Advance tickets will soon be available through the website.
“We’re working extremely hard to make this a memorable night of racing for the fans and the competitors. We’ve got a lot of surprises in store and will be announcing them as we get closer to the event. And the best way to learn about everything that happening is to visit the website every few days,” Hearn said.
Already more than three-dozen drivers have indicated they’ll be at Orange County for this celebration of speed with more names being added daily. “When you add the Orange County Modified drivers, the Super DIRTcar Series travelers, and all the other drivers who’ve already told me they’re coming to THE BIG SHOW, we expect to have the largest and most talented field for a Series race in years,” Hearn added.
In addition to a full night of Modified racing, including time trials, qualifying heat races, and a 100-lap feature, THE BIG SHOW will include a B-main race for the non-qualified cars. The winner will then choose either the $2,000 prize money, or the 13th starting slot in the 100-lap main event which carries at least a $6,000 winning payoff.
Hearn, 50, is a full-time professional race car driver. His record of 758 feature race victories and more than 70 track and series championships places him among the sport’s all-time race winners in any form of American motorsports. This is his first race meet promotion.
