On the verge of launching the 34th consecutive year of crowning a Mr. DIRTcar Big-Block Champion, long-time DIRTcar Racing Northeast promotional partner Dig Safely New York has buckled in for a season long ride as an associate sponsor of the Advance Auto Parts Super DIRTcar Series.
Dig Safely will carry a strong presence throughout the 23-event Advance Series scheduled in 2009, retaining naming rights for the consolation round which will again be recognized as the ‘Dig Safely New York Last Chance Race.’
“Encouraging safe digging practices is what we are all about and DIRTcar Racing has provided a valuable platform to market our program,” commented former Dig Safely New York Motorsports Consultant Larry Bishop, who has continued to solidify company support of the DIRTcar circuit for more than a decade. DSNY remains a major player during Super DIRT Week, sponsoring the Rite Aid 200 Big-Block Modified last-chance qualifier plus Sportsman and Pro Stock consis, as well as halfway lap leader awards in 358-Modified, Sportsman and Pro Stock Championship races. Dig Safely also sponsors select race nights at Canandaigua and Can-Am speedways during the summer months.
