2016 Super DIRTcar Series Sponsors Announced

Regular season opens April 30 at Fulton Speedway

WEEDSPORT, N.Y. – April 20, 2016 – The Super DIRTcar Series Big-Block Modifieds is pleased to announce a long list of marketing partners for the 2016 season. The 30 primary and contingency sponsors are the driving force to fuel the entire upcoming campaign – 29 action-packed races over the span of nine months.

The Super DIRTcar Series, the nation’s premier touring big-block modified series, will kick-off its points season Saturday, April 30 at Fulton Speedway, where 17 full-time Platinum drivers will begin their pursuit toward the coveted series championship. The series will be joined by the DIRTcar NE Sportsman.

The Super DIRTcar Series secured partnerships for its 2016 tour with sponsors including: Beyea Headers, Chevrolet Performance, FX Caprara, G-Force Helmets, Impact Racing, Integra Racing Shocks, Intercomp, Motorsports Safety Systems, Number One Speed, Racing Electrionics, Sports Insurance Specialists and TNT Rescue.

Notably, Perrotte and the series approved exhaust headers by Beyea Headers in the 358 Modified and Sportsman divisions. Beyea has spent more than 15 years fabricating custom headers, catering to racing teams nationwide.

Dig Safely New York re-signed with the series to continue as a sponsor for the 2016 season.Dig Safely will reward a $100 bonus to the the driver who draws the eighth or 11th position in the redraw and wins the event.

Series contingency sponsors include: ASI Race Wear, Bicknell Racing Products, Bilstein Shocks, Comp Cams, Cometic Gasket, Edelbrock Racing, Dig Safely New York, FOX Shocks, Hoosier Tires, JE Pistons, JRI Shocks, KSE Racing, Mike’s Racing Heads, MSD Performance, Pole Position Raceway, SuperFlow, VP Racing and Wrisco Aluminum.

Pole Position will again give $100 cash to the “Fast Time” award winner at all events and $1,500 cash to the Pole Award winner at NAPA Super DIRT Week.

Bilstein Shocks changed its contingency program for the series from 2015. Cash awards to teams using solely Bilstein Shocks will be given based on the following payout schedule:

  • June 30: the highest points finisher, post-event running Bilstein Shocks will receive a $500 cash award.
  • July 26: the highest points finisher, post-event running Bilstein Shocks will receive a $1,000 cash award. The second-highest points finisher, post-event running Bilstein Shocks will receive a $500 cash award.
  • September 17: the highest points finisher, post-event running Bilstein Shocks will receive a $1,000 cash award. The second-highest points finisher, post-event running Bilstein Shocks will receive a $500 cash award.
  • October 29: the highest points finisher, post-event running Bilstein Shocks will receive a $1,000 cash award. The second highest points finisher, post-event running Bilstein Shocks will receive a $500 cash award.
  • Bilstein Shocks product certificates to the driver 5th in overall series point standings after the following events: June 30, July 26, Sept. 17 and Oct. 29.
