August will close with one of the biggest Super DIRT Week Qualifier races of the year at Lebanon Valley Speedway during Mr. DIRT Track USA.

The marquee Super DIRTcar Series event on Labor Day weekend will see the best Big Block Modified drivers in the region compete for a $15,500 payday and a guaranteed starting spot in the Billy Whittaker Cars 200 on Saturday, Oct. 12.

Andy Bachetti, of Sheffield, MA, scored his third straight Mr. DIRT Track USA win at Lebanon last year, and sixth Super DIRTcar Series win at the 1/2-mile dirt track. While that’ll make him a favorite to watch again, Brett Haas, of Pittsfield, MA, has been the driver to beat in weekly competition at Lebanon this year with five wins and the current points lead.

Ten-time Series champion, and current Series points leader, Matt Sheppard has four Series wins at the track and is the last full-time Series driver to win there with his 2023 May victory. He then finished second to Bachetti at the Mr. DIRT Track USA.

Sheppard is also the last driver to earn a Super DIRT Week 52 guaranteed starting spot with his win at Autodrome Drummond. He joined Stewart Friesen and Jimmy Phelps as the only drivers locked in, so far.

Lebanon Valley Speedway has produced surprise Super DIRT Week Qualifier winners, such as L.J. Lombardo, who surprised the northeast with his first Super DIRTcar Series win in 2022, which locked him into his first Super DIRT Week appearance.
