When the Super DIRTcar Series returns to Lebanon Valley Speedway for Mr. DIRT Track USA on Saturday, Sept. 2, two massive prizes will be waiting for the victor.
A big check with $15,500 on it will be handed to the winner, along with a guaranteed starting spot in Super DIRT Week 51’s Billy Whittaker Cars 200 (the race also pays $1,000 to start).
It’ll be the second visit of the year to the half-mile track for the Series. The first was during The King of Spring event in May, won by nine-time and defending points leader Matt Sheppard – his fourth Series win at the track – locking him into Super DIRT Week 51.
But when it comes to Mr. DIRT Track USA, one driver has held the title the last two years – Andy Bachetti, of Sheffield, MA. He has six wins with the Super DIRTcar Series, all coming at Lebanon Valley Speedway.
The event will lock in a fourth driver to the 2023 $51,000 to win Billy Whittaker Cars 200 at Oswego Speedway. So far, Sheppard, Mat Williamson and Mike Mahaney have secured a spot in the 200-lap Feature.
