Larry Wight has been a staple on Northeast Dirt Tracks for many years. The Phoenix, NY driver was introduced to life as a racer in the Microd and Go-Kart divisions as a young child. He jumped up to a Sportsman at the age of 14, quickly followed by another jump into Big Block and Small Block Modified competition the following year.

Wight experienced one of the most memorable moments of his career at Super DIRT Week 46 when he took the checkers in the Billy Whittaker Cars 200 at Super DIRT Week 46. With the win, he permanently solidified his name among the most accomplished names in the history of the division.

In 2021, his most recent season as a full-time Series driver, he recorded an eighth-place finish in the Series points battle, anchored by four top-five finishes and 10 top-10 finishes. After taking a year off from Series competition to reset, Wight is ready to show he can still get the job done and bring home the wins. He comes into 2023 with four wins and 56 top-five finishes, eager to add to the tally.
