Three weekend stops await the Super DIRTcar Series in September, leading up to Super DIRT Week 54.
First, the Beasts of the Northeast return to Weedsport Speedway on Sunday, Sept. 6, for the Cavalcade Cup 100, the second and final stop of the season at the 3/8-mile track. Less than a week later, a trip to Northern New York awaits with a visit to Can-Am Speedway in LaFargeville, NY, for the third annual R.D. Hutchinson Memorial on Saturday, Sept. 12.
Then, the final stop of 2026 before Super DIRT Week 54 at Oswego Speedway, Oct. 5-10, marks a return to Albany-Saratoga Speedway in Malta, NY, on Saturday, Sept. 26, for Malta Massive Weekend.
Here’s a look at what’s ahead:
Weedsport Speedway | Cavalcade Cup 100 (Sept. 6)
September’s three-race slate kicks off with a return to Weedsport for the final time in 2026 in the Cavalcade Cup 100.
The race occurs three weeks after the last stop at the 3/8-mile dirt track, which featured an iconic battle between NASCAR Trucks Series star and race winner Stewart Friesen and 10-time Series champion Matt Sheppard.
Friesen has won his last three Series starts at Weedsport but is aiming for his first Cavalcade Cup 100victory.
Joining the Super DIRTcar Series will be the DIRTcar Sportsman Championship Series for the Sportsman Classic and the Hoosier 600 Microsprint tour.

Can-Am Speedway | R.D. Hutchinson Memorial (Sept. 12)
Showdown in September weekend at Can-Am continues to get bigger every year, and for the third straight season it’ll be highlighted by the R.D. Hutchinson Memorial on Saturday, Sept. 12.
In last year’s event, Series points leader Alex Yankowski held off challenges from Alex Payne and Larry Wight to earn his second win of 2025.
The Beasts of the Northeast will be joined by the DIRTcar Sportsman Championship Series at the “Nasty Track of the North,” finishing off a weekend that includes two nights of DIRTcar 358 Modified Series action, Sept. 10-11.

Albany-Saratoga Speedway | Malta Massive Weekend (Sept. 26)
The final stop in September marks the last stop before Super DIRT Week 54, as the Series heads to Albany-Saratoga Speedway for the highly anticipated Malta Massive Weekend.
It’ll be the second trip to the “Great Race Place” in 2026, after Mat Williamson kicked off the championship season with a win in April.
During last year’s Malta Massive Weekend, Sheppard led every lap to score his second win at the 4/10-mile facility.
Malta Massive Weekend is also a true Super DIRT Week preview, as all four DIRTcar Northeast Series will be in action. The DIRTcar Pro Stock Series will join the Super DIRTcar Series on Sept. 26, while the DIRTcar 358 Modified Series and DIRTcar Sportsman Series will battle on Friday, Sept. 25.
It’s the only time all season that fans can see all four Series in action in the same weekend before Super DIRT Week.
