A busy summer for the Beasts of the Northeast kicks off with a jam-packed July featuring six races in two countries.

First, the Super DIRTcar Series celebrates Independence Day with the Stars and Stripes Spectacular at Land of Legends Raceway on Thursday, July 2.

Then, the Series prepares for a mid-week doubleheader starting with a return to Cornwall Motor Speedway on Tuesday, July 7, for the O’Canada 75, before heading to Mohawk International Raceway on Wednesday, July 8, for the Summer Shootout.

The month finishes up with a two-country tripleheader, beginning with the annual trip to Autodrome Drummond for King of the North, July 20-21. Following Drummond, the Series makes its highly anticipated return to Airborne Park Speedway for the Thunder in the Adirondacks on Wednesday, July 22.

Here’s a look at what’s ahead:

Land of Legends Raceway | Stars and Stripes Spectacular (July 2)

July begins with the annual Independence Day celebration in the Finger Lakes with the first of two stops at Land of Legends in 2026.

Last season, Mat Williamson drove from sixth to first in the 76-lap Feature, which gave him a Series points lead he wouldn’t relinquish on the way to his third championship.

Land of Legends is the track where Super DIRTcar Series drivers have the most experience, as Williamson, Matt Sheppard, Alex Payne, Jimmy Phelps, Mike Trautschold, and Marcus Dinkins race there weekly.

Cornwall Motor Speedway | O’Canada 75 (July 7)

Cornwall serves as the first repeat track on the 2026 Super DIRTcar Series schedule after the Big Blocks competed in May’s Spring Shootout.

Alex Yankowski outdueled Williamson in May’s bullring battle, earning his second win of the season and second Series win in five days. The Covington Township, PA driver became the 15th different Super DIRTcar Series winner at Cornwall.

The O’Canada 75 will be the first time the Series has raced twice in the same season at the 1/4-mile bullring.

Mohawk International Raceway | Summer Shootout (July 8)

One night after racing at Cornwall, the Series will cross the St. Lawrence River and head to Mohawk International Raceway for the Summer Shootout.

In last season’s return to the Akwesasne, NY track, Stewart Friesen wrestled the lead away from Yankowski just before the race’s halfway point and cruised to his first Series win at the dirt track.

There have been 14 Super DIRTcar Series races at Mohawk since 1994, with nine different drivers reaching Victory Lane.

Autodrome Drummond | King of the North (July 20-21)

An annual Quebec tradition continues toward the end of July as the Series returns to the Canadian province for back-to-back nights at Autodrome Drummond.

Both King of the North races will pay $10,000-to-win this season, but track promoter Yan Bussiere is making the event even bigger this year. The driver with the best combined finishes over two nights of action will be crowned “King of the North,” taking home an extra $2,000 and a special helmet.

Last season’s King of the North was swept by Sheppard, who’s won the last three Super DIRTcar Series Features at the track known as the “F1 of Dirt.”

Airborne Park Speedway | Thunder in the Adirondacks (July 22)

For the first time since 2019, the Super DIRTcar Series returns to the shores of Lake Champlain with a stop at Airborne Park Speedway.  This year’s Thunder in the Adirondacks will be the fifth appearance at the 1/2-mile track and fourth on the track’s dirt surface.

Larry Wight has won two of the three Series events at the track, with Danny Johnson earning the other with a last-lap pass on Sheppard in 2018.

Series regular Mike Mahaney is the current DIRTcar 358 Modified points leader at Airborne and has won the last four Features there. Felix Roy also has a victory at Airborne this season.
