LATEST RACES: Autodrome Drummond (July 22-23)

Current Points Leader: After a win and a fourth at Drummond, Matt Sheppard extended his points lead to 27 over Mat Williamson. The Waterloo, NY, driver has finished in the top five in seven of the nine championship season races.

Movers:

Mat Williamson (+2): Mat Williamson jumped to second in the Super DIRTcar Series standings after a second and ninth during the King of the North. The 2019 Series champion is nine points ahead of Jimmy Phelps, who remained third after Drummond. 

Tim Sears Jr. (+2): Sears finished on the podium on both nights of King of the North, earning a third on night one and a second on night two after leading 70 laps. The Hastings, NY driver is 15 points behind Phelps for third and 51 points behind Sheppard for the lead.

Anthony Perrego (-3): A pair of 20th-place finishes at Drummond dropped Anthony Perrego two spots in the standings to fifth. He enters SummerFAST 75 points behind Sheppard and 24 points behind Sears.

Darren Smith (+1): With finishes of sixth and 17th at Drummond, Darren Smith jumped up one position in the standings to sixth. He’s finished in the top 10 in two of his last three Super DIRTcar Series starts.

Alex Payne (+4): Rookie of the Year contender Alex Payne earned his two best Super DIRTcar Series finishes at the King of the North, earning a fifth on night one and third on night 2. The Hopewell, NY driver moved up four spots to seventh in points—eight points behind Smith.

Jack Lehner (+1): Despite a 13th and 11th, Jack Lehner moved up one spot to ninth in points. He entersSummerFAST 10 points behind Larry Wight for eighth. 

Mike Mahaney (-1): With a 19th and 10th during King of the North, Mike Mahaney dropped one spot to 10th. The Elizabethtown, NY driver is 195 points behind Sheppard and 10 points behind Lehner.
