Current Points Leader: With a fifth at Land of Legends and a fourth at Fulton, 10-time defending Series champion Matt Sheppard extended his points lead to 32 points over Mat Williamson.

The Waterloo, NY driver has finished in the top 10 in 10 of the 11 races in the Super DIRTcar Series championship season.

Movers:

Alex Payne (+1): After two top fives during SummerFAST, Alex Payne moved up one spot in the championship standings to sixth. The Hopewell, NY driver is 42 points behind Anthony Perrego for fifth.

He’s also leading the race for Rookie of the Year over Justin Stone.

Darren Smith (-1): With Payne moving up a position, Darren Smith dropped back into a tie for seventh with Larry Wight. The Binghamton, NY driver finished ninth at Land of Legends and 23rd at Fulton.

Larry Wight (+1): While it shows Wight is eighth in the standings, he’s tied with Smith for seventh. “Lightning Larry” finished 10th at Land of Legends and 11th at Fulton.

Felix Roy (+1): The 2023 Series Rookie of the Year cracked the top 10 for the first time this season. After finishing 20th at Land of Legends, the Quebec driver bounced back with a sixth at Fulton.
