The Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modified event postponed last month at Atomic Speedway will unfortunately not be made up this season. Track and series officials examined potential dates to make up the event, but with schedules conflicting throughout the season it was not possible to reschedule in 2022. Atomic Speedway Promoter Charlie Vest and Super DIRTcar Series Director Dean Reynolds are already discussing options for a 2023 event.
That means the march to the historic 50th NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week continues Tuesday, May 3, at New Jersey’s Bridgeport Motorsports Park in the 75-lap “King of the Big Blocks” event. Pits open at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, grandstands at 5 p.m.
