In one month, the Super DIRTcar Series returns to New York’s Capital Region to honor Hall of Fame motorsports journalist Don Davies.

The Series heads to Albany-Saratoga Speedway on Tuesday, June 25, for the “Don Davies New York Modifieds 76.” It’ll be the Series’ 23rd stop at “The Great Race Place” and the first of two visits in 2024.

The event is highlighted by a “Race Within a Race.” It includes two segments—the first segment will be 46 laps, followed by an invert of four, six, or eight. Segment two is a 30-lap sprint for the $7,600 prize.

Super DIRTcar Series stars like 10-time defending champion Matt Sheppard (Waterloo, NY), 2019 Series champion Mat Williamson (St. Catharines, ON), Anthony Perrego (Montgomery, NY), Peter Britten (Brisbane, QLD), Jack Lehner (Saratoga Springs, NY) and more will take on Albany-Saratoga Speedway standouts like defending track champion Demetrios Drellos (Queensbury, NY), Marc Johnson (Guilderland, NY) and Matt Delorenzo (Cropseyville, NY).

The rain date for the event is scheduled for Wednesday, June 26.
