Curious which drivers you should keep an eye on at each Super DIRTcar Series event? Series Announcer Mike Warren will bring you his top-five* picks each week.

This week: The 60th Anniversary Special at Albany-Saratoga Speedway on Friday, April 18.

MIKE’S TOP FIVE:

1. Peter Britten
Why: If there’s any Albany-Saratoga regular that’s due to win a Super DIRTcar Series race at home, it’s Britten. He’s been one of the most consistent drivers at the track over the past few seasons, he just needs to put it all together.

2. Mat Williamson
Why: Williamson won both Series events in 2024, and it’s very rare to see the Buzz Chew Chevrolet No. 88 team finish outside of the top five once they figure out how to run well at a racetrack. Don’t be surprised if “Money Mat” is there at the end with a chance to make history with three in a row.

3. Marc Johnson
Why: You never count out Marc Johnson when you travel to Albany-Saratoga Speedway. Period. Even though he hasn’t won a Series Feature at the track, he’s knocked on the door on a few occasions and knows how to get to Victory Lane there with 27 career Feature wins.

4. Mike Mahaney
Why: While the results haven’t shown it, Mahaney has been good just about everywhere he’s unloaded in 2025. “Smooth Shoe” has done it twice before at Albany-Saratoga, and if he gets off to the same hot start he did early in the night at New Egypt, he should be in contention at the end of 60 laps.

 5. Felix Roy
Why: “Hollywood” has the chance to make his presence known to both the Super DIRTcar Series and Albany-Saratoga field on Friday, as he returns to the place of his best Series finish. Springtime conditions may favor the Napierville, QC driver, who comes into the weekend with momentum after his win last weekend at Airborne in his 358.

You can follow these drivers and more at Albany-Saratoga Speedway on Friday, April 18.

If you can’t make it to the track, you can watch all of the Super DIRTcar Series action- with Mike Warren – on DIRTVision, either online or with the DIRTVision app.
