SAINT-MARCEL-DE-RICHELIEU, QUE. — Sept. 9, 2017 — finishing 21st at Autodrome Granby the night before, Sheppard lowered the track record mark during qualifying and would go on to pick up a heat race win. Sheppard headed into the redraw as the driver to beat. Sheppard would start the 100-lap feature from the 11th position and worked his way through to take the lead on lap 88. The masterful driver through the field leads to Sheppard’s seventh win in the last Super DIRTcar Series nine races and his eighth win of the 2017 season. Larry Wight, Jimmy Phelps, David Hebert and Tim Fuller rounded out the top-five.
