The ‘Super DIRT Week of the Summer’ continues to gain momentum as DIRTcar All-Star Weekend at Cayuga County Fair Speedway has just landed it’s newest ‘Super Team’ just in time for this landmark occasion.

Gypsum Express stalwarts Billy Decker, Larry Wight, Ryan Phelps and Pat O’Brien continue to prove their worth for trucking magnate John Wight as the Super DIRTcar Series picks up steam on the Northeastern circuit.

Now it’s a turn for the freshest foursome to move in and contend for bragging rights as the richest event ever envisioned at the historic Weedsport oval takes center stage July 17-19.

Already anchored by Big-Block Modified team members Matt Sheppard and Jeff Brownell Jr., JB Motorsports has acquired the services of talented Tim McCreadie and veteran Pete Bicknell to contest over the weekend as they share seat time in near identically-prepared Bicknell Racing Products Chassis sporting the patented green Xtreme Lubricants color combination.

McCreadie, Sheppard and Brownell will by vying for starting berths in the Super DIRTcar Series 50-lap preliminary race Saturday at The Port, then be joined by Bicknell on Sunday when a $20,000 jackpot is at stake in the inaugural All-Star 100 for the mighty Big-Block Modifieds with $1,000 awarded just to start!

For ticket and camping information, please contact the DIRTcar Racing Northeast office (315/834-6606) in Weedsport, New York, or visit www.cayugacountyfairspeedway.com and www.allstar100weekend.com.

Neither of the four Xtreme drivers would be considered longshots to take home the grand-prize as each are multiple winners at DIRTcar Northeast’s flagship facility. Including a win scored this season, Sheppard’s Big-Block victory total at Cayuga County stands at 10 while both of Brownell’s checkered flags were taken in 2005. Himself a three-time SDS winner in Weedsport, ’06 World of Outlaws Late Model Series titlist McCreadie posted the last of his 14 victories at Weedsport in 2004, while
the fifth and final Small-Block win for Bicknell at CCFS was registered in a Mr. DIRTcar 358-Modified Championship Series show in 1986.

Established Central New York car owner Jeff Brownell Sr. will have Sheppard (#9s) and McCreadie (#9m) buckled into a pair of C.C. Performance-powered no. 9 cars with Bicknell adding a ‘B’ to his son Jeff’s no. 29 ride to distinguish the pair on race day.

The Xtreme Lubricants and Gypsum Wholesalers contingents are among the best in the Big-Block business today signed up to be part of the greatest spectacle of speed ever witnessed in 54 years of racing at Cayuga County Fair Speedway. Be there to find out if the home track favorites can defend their soil or an invader from out of state can steal away the gold. Whatever the outcome, All-Star Weekend is guaranteed to be remembered as inaugural events never come again.
