Super DIRT Week lap sponsorship continues to be made available, yet only for the Big-Blocks and 358-Modifieds, as the richest DIRTcar Racing event in the Northeast quickly approaches.
Super DIRT Week XXXVIII is scheduled for Oct. 7-11 at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse with thousands of dollars up for grabs in purses, product contingencies and special awards posted for all four classes.
A limited number of laps remain open in the headline ‘Rite Aid 200’ for Big-Block Modifieds and the ‘Salute To The Troops 150’ 358-Modified Championship, while the Sportsman and Pro Stock Championship events are now officially filled up.
All lap sponsors will be recognized in the Super DIRT Week souvenir program and by the public address announcer prior to the designated event. A minimum contribution of $30 per lap is required.
An invoice will follow each request and all check/money order payments must be postmarked immediately to validate sponsored lap(s) in time for program printing.
Activity gets underway on the fairgrounds with Modified ‘Happy Hour’ slated for Wednesday, Oct. 7, continuing with ‘Media Day’ and Big-Block/358-Modified Integra Shocks Time Trials plus 358-Mod and Sportsman futures events on Thursday. Big-Block Triple 20 and 358-Modified Twin 20 qualifying races, Sportsman Time Trials and Big-Block/Pro Stock futures go off on Friday, Syracuse 150 358-Modified Championship, Sportsman Championship races and Pro Stock Time Trials run Saturday, with the 200-lap SDW XXXVIII Modified and Pro Stock championships taking center stage on Sunday.
