A racer his entire life since the age of 15, Mike Mahaney has been in and around the world of racing for almost 20 years.
Starting out in Slingshots in 2005, he branched out to the Sportsman division two seasons later as his growth steadily improved, and the wins continued to come. In 2007, he recorded three Sportsman wins and won Rookie of the Year at Cayuga County Fair Speedway in Weedsport, N.Y.
He continued to move up, eventually taking the wheel behind a DIRTcar 358 Modified and competing full-time on the Super DIRTcar Series in a Big Block Modified.
Coming into the 2024 season, the King Ferry, NY native has scored three Series wins. Two of them were at Albany-Saratoga Speedway, while the other was at Autodrome Drummond.
Mahaney is ready to put his extensive experience to work and become a top contender against the best-of-the-best in Big Block Modified racing.
