Sheppard Crowned Super DIRTcar Series Champion for the Fourth Time at Season Ending Awards Banquet

Bernard, Desjardins and Bissonnette also honored for 2015 Series Championships

LIVERPOOL, N.Y. – Nov. 23, 2015 – The 2015 Super DIRTcar Big-Block Modified Series season officially came to a close on Saturday night with Matt Sheppard taking home top honors at the season-ending awards banquet. It was the fourth time in his career that the Waterloo, New York native has earned the series title.

Sheppard was the model of consistency throughout the 2015 campaign with his Heinke-Baldwin Racing owned Troyer car. In 24 starts on the season, Sheppard managed an impressive 23 top-ten finishes. He was in the top five 15 times while taking home checkered flags on four different occasions with the series. He earned track championships at all three of his home tracks.

Big Blocks Return To Eldora In 2016

Super DIRTcar Big-Block Modified Series Returns to Eldora Speedway July 19-20, 2016

Series then takes on Sharon Speedway July 21 in Hartford, Ohio

CONCORD, N.C. – Nov. 12, 2015 – The Super DIRTcar Big-Block Modified Series will return to Eldora Speedway in 2016 for the first time in a decade.

The series takes on the historic half-mile track in Rossburg, Ohio, on Tuesday, July 19, and Wednesday, July 20. The Big-Block Modifieds will run a full series points event on Tuesday and an invitational event on Wednesday when it joins the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Canadian Kerr Scores First Super DIRTcar Series Victory in Bad Boy Buggies World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte

Sheppard captures his fourth series championship

CONCORD, N.C. – Nov. 8, 2015 – For the first time in his young career Canadian Big-Block Modified driver Tim Kerr of Picton, Ontario, scored a Super DIRTcar Series win, and did so on Sunday night at the premier Bad Boy Buggies World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte.

A strong second-place finish earned Waterloo, N.Y.’s Matt Sheppard his fourth Super DIRTcar Series championship title and the first for team owners, Al and Judy Heinke, of Heinke Baldwin Racing. After his Friday night, fourth place feature finish Sheppard held an 81-point lead over only other title contender, Gypsum Express driver Billy Decker of Unadilla, N.Y.

Bad Boy Buggies World Finals Postponed

Bad Boy Buggies World Finals Finale Postponed to Sunday

CONCORD, N.C. – Nov. 7, 2015 – Saturday’s Bad Boy Buggies World Finals finale has been postponed to Sunday following persistent inclement weather.

Pit gates open at 11 a.m. Sunday morning with the grandstands opening at noon. Cars will be on the track at 2 p.m. To see a full and up-to-date schedule, visit http://www.charlottemotorspeedway.com/tickets/world_of_outlaws_world_finals/ .
