For the second straight night Gary Tomkins hit on all cylinders and the end result was a command performance at Cornwall Motor Speedway to give him his second victory of the season in the Advance Auto Parts Super DIRTcar Series show. Tomkins 16th career tour triumph was worth $6,000 in the 14th Annual Akwesasne Mohawk Casino International 100 and moved him into fifth on the Advance Series points chart through 18 events.

Just two days earlier Gary Tomkins was in desperate need of a spark to ignite his team that had suffered through a summer of misfortune and missed chances. After posting a third-place best finish the night before, Tomkins finally lit the fire on Saturday at Can-Am Motorsports Park and went on to find victory lane for the first time in the Advance Auto Parts Super DIRTcar Series by capturing the headline ‘F.X. Caprara Car Companies 100’ at the smooth LaFargeville, New York layout.
